Every once-in-a-while, I have the opportunity to meet a couple that seem to just fit together perfectly. Like a lock and a key, they just work together. They compliment each other. That’s Taylor and Tommy. Taylor is outgoing and bubbly, laughing and telling stories. Tommy is a little more quiet and reserved. But he always has a smile on his face and a glimmer in his eye when he looks at Taylor. It’s easy to see they are a great match.
From the moment I sat down with them for our first consultation, I could tell they were each other’s better half. There was a sense of togetherness and camaraderie that only best friends have. And they welcomed me with open arms as we discussed their wedding, engagement photo ideas, drinks, racing and all sorts of other things. I was humbled and honored when I realized that I was a good fit for them.
Fast forward a few months and time for pictures rolls around. Taylor had been looking over my galleries and having seen some of my pictures from Triple J Farms, decided that is where she wanted her engagement photos taken. It’s no secret that I love that place, so naturally I said “yes!” Taylor was after beautiful mountains and the rustic chic look of the buildings at Triple J and I must say, it was the perfect choice!
I had met Taylor in town a few times, and she was always dressed to the nines and very stylish. So when we started talking about cowboy boots and Nascar for her photos, I started getting a better feel for country side. Her fun side! And let me tell you, we had fun taking these photos! It’s not every bride-to-be who brings a cooler of beer to her engagement shoot! Sadly, they didn’t bring it for me. It was to be used as a prop for their photos. But don’t worry. They were polite and offered me a cold one!
