And hurricane Matthew didn’t stop these two from getting married!
When faced with a wedding day full of cloudy skies and rain, some brides would simply buckle under the pressure. But not Elizabeth! Both she and Tim were upbeat and super happy to be getting married! They didn’t care what the weather was like and both were dead-set on having this thing outdoors! After all, you don’t have a wedding a the incredible Sierra Vista to keep everyone inside the barn. You have a wedding there for the view! As the day progressed, we all kept checking the sky, watching for rain and hoping. Both the bride and the groom decided that they were confident the rain would hold out and they could go ahead with their outdoor ceremony. And they were right! The rain held out (for the most part) the entire afternoon! We got a few sprinkles here and there and had to dry off the chairs, but the skies held out! And that brooding landscape quickly lightened up and gave us spectacular views of the mountains!
There were so many wonderful parts to this wedding and I’m really excited that I was able to be a part of it. Special thanks to Megan Vaughan Photography for hiring me to shoot along side her! She is a super-talented photographer and an absolute joy to work with!
