I really enjoy what I do. Taking photos is my life. Thankfully, there are people out there who pay me to do what I love and I can’t ask for more than that! So it’s always a special pleasure when I get a repeat client. Most importantly, it means they liked my work well enough to want to work with me a second time. That’s a huge compliment!
You may remember seeing photos of Jess earlier this spring, when she and her gigantic (and adorably sweet) Rottweiler, Malaki, were having fun at the duck pond in Blacksburg. Well, those were Jess’s graduation photos she hired me to take to commemorate her receiving her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech. Malaki means so much to her that she wanted to include him in those photos. That’s totally understandable, and he was an absolute blast to work with!
Fast-forward a few months and Jess gets the itch for some new photos. We talked and decided to do some more fashionable portraits this time around. We discussed looks, shared a Pinterest board and talked for a while about how we wanted these photos to turn out. We wanted a more upscale feel. A little editorial, even. And I think we got it!
These photos were a lot of fun, despite it being in the 50’s and terribly windy that day in Blacksburg. Jess never complained about the cold, either. Not even once. That’s dedication.
