Blog? What’s a blog? Apparently, I have no idea.
I haven’t been making blog posts about my shoots.
I. Am. Ashamed.
After all, if you’re here, you want to see recent work and not just my portfolio. I’ll do better. I promise! I’m getting several posts ready to upload to the blog this weekend and will have some new content for you to look at in the next few days. It’s good stuff, too! Keeping you current with my work is important. If you’re searching for a photographer, blogging regularly might help me get onto your radar. And if I’m lucky, it may help me stand out from the rest of the photographers you’re checking out.
Blogging is new to me and I’m still learning about it’s importance in marketing myself. I’m sure my clients would love to see their images on my blog and be able to share the link with friends and family. It’s something I want to offer them. I’m generally so focused on the work, and excited to take the photos, that afterwards I tend to forget about sharing things. I need to work harder to share my work and utilize more social media. Not doing it gives me the sad eyes.
But as I’ve said, I’m going to make a concerted effort to share more images and stories about fantastic photo shoots on the blog. It’s something that I want to do. It’s also something that I need to do. It helps you find me. It shows you what I’m capable of. It gives you some sense of what kind of person I am. All of that is important. I enjoy every single minute of my shoots. The thing is, all the stuff afterwords, like blogging about it, seems like actual work. But it’s not. It’s fun to share things!
So keep an eye out. You won’t be disappointed!
